August 2009 brought new opportunities with Symphony One. Cathleen Tyson met Mark Kane through LinkedIn and worked tirelessly toward a common goal for many months bringing together a team of specialist. Cathleen Tyson

Cathleen started working in the field of computer graphic design in 1985. Living in Phoenix, Arizona, she learned digital design, then continued to a direct mail house into the early 90's. Moving back to her home town in the mid 90's, Amarillo, Texas, she was the main designer and pre-press coordinator for a couple of printing companies. Learning about paper stocks, print layout for the press, and how to correct agency files to make them print correctly.

For six years, Cathleen worked full time as an Art Director for APLX Advertising; direct mail, newspaper and magazine ads, specialty printing, outdoor boards, web design, and TV graphics. The ad agency focused on automotive advertising for Auto Inc.'s dealerships in the State of Texas.

Volunteering for the Amarillo Opera , Cathleen designed logos, membership brochures, themes, campaigns, posters, program ads and covers from 1996 to 2007. Also, she sang with the Amarillo Opera's chorus in several performances. Die Fledermaus ('96 & '08), Madam Butterfly, Carmen (French), and also My Fair Lady. She also is very involved with Amarillo Youth Choirs web site and program themes and advertising.

Since 2003, Cathleen Tyson has been Chair and set up the committee structure for the Gaylia Cochran Lamar Elementary PTA Scholarship. In 2007, she was key in moving the $12,000 into the Amarilo Area Foundation, protecting the money and adding more available interest to the principle.

After meeting Mark Kane, Cathleen has been key in building the Symphony One Team with the excitement of Mark's vision for the business. Linked In brought all the connections together for Mark, Cathleen, Simon and Mike. Steven Freeborn was has been a wonderful addition found through his work in HOA law. 

Mike Burgess

Web design/developer with search engine optimisation and online marketing. Specialising in CMS websites. Providing support to all web site owners and ensuring all sites are optimised for the search engine market.

Owner of ARKAD Enterprises

Originally specialised in teaching new computer students and providing hardware and software. This developed into a computer and printing business. From there I moved the business into a totally Internet based online marketing and web development company specialising in Search Engine Optimised (SEO) Content Management System (CMS) websites. This has allowed me to move from my home country (Australia) to reside in the UK with my wife and children but continue to do business on an International scale.
